Sailing Around The World

I See Land

Location: 25deg 33.67min North, 77deg 03.411min West.

So after 4 days I will get to see land soon. Had a good sail last night as we sailed with the spinnaker all night and switch over to our jib as I sailed through some little squalls. We should be at anchor tonight in Nassau hopefully before the sun goes down. I am looking forward to having a few drinks.

We really liked Road Bay, Anguilla. We had intended on staying for one night and we stayed for a week. It is more small town and friendly…more like the Copper Country than St. Barts or St. Martin. Hope you get a chance to check it out. Looks like you got some serious upwind sailing ahead of you. Good luck on that. Since we were coming the other way we had the current and wnd with us. We also stayed in Spanish Wells on Eleuthera and really liked that. Again it was very very small. Nice protected and inexpensive mooring balls. Enjoy that beer!
